Earth Interior Architects designed the architecture and the interiors for Lumiere Restaurant and Bar located in Kolwezi in the DRC.

Lumiere means Light in French, the designed is based on this element bringing in light natural textures as well as feature lighting to create a luxurious and calming space.

Candice Brophy, creative director of Earth Interior Architects says “Our client wanted a unique space where live music and entertainers could be enjoyed in a space as well as there being a restaurant element offering delicious foods. A VIP area on the 3rd floor allows for private and exclusive dining while still being a part of the ambiance of the restaurant entertainment. A beautiful bar offers premium brands to the residents of Kolwezi. My personal favorite element is the arches of the exterior of the building with the reflection pool around the front edge”

The space is fulled with textures and finishes that catch the eye and create a pleasing space to be in, strip lighting highlights key areas. Glass VIP rooms allow for privacy whilst still being a part of the rest of the restaurant, curtains can be drawn for complete privacy if required.
